-
APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS
Please read these terms before placing an order. By submitting an order, you agree to the terms presented to you for that purchase.
Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of your purchase terms where made available before you order. Any product-specific conditions, including customisation requirements and delivery commitments, must also be disclosed before purchase.
If information conflicts, mandatory law takes priority, followed by any specific terms expressly agreed for your order and then these general terms. An additional policy cannot remove mandatory consumer rights.
Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal information. Agreeing to these terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing or tracking.
These are customer terms. Commercial arrangements with participating brands and vendors are governed by separate agreements.
-
ELIGIBILITY AND CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity required to enter into a purchase contract.
You must provide accurate and complete information necessary to process your order, including your contact details and delivery address.
If you create an account, you are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your login credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
You must not impersonate another person or use payment details without authorisation. You are not automatically responsible for activity caused by our failure to meet our own legal or security obligations.
-
OUR ROLE AND PARTICIPATING BRANDS
Colour Closet offers products sourced from participating brands and vendors, including businesses in Pakistan.
For purchases under these terms, your sales contract is with the legal entity identified in Section 1. A brand or vendor may prepare, customise or dispatch a product on our behalf.
Please contact Colour Closet regarding order support, delivery issues, returns and refunds. Our arrangements with suppliers do not remove our responsibilities to you under your purchase contract or applicable law.
A purchase you independently make directly from another business is governed by that business’s terms.
-
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, prices, photographs, size information and availability.
Colours may appear differently because of lighting, photography and screen settings. Handmade products may have minor variations in embroidery, print placement or finishing where consistent with their description.
These variations do not excuse a product that is defective, materially different from its description or inconsistent with specifications agreed with you.
Please review the size chart and product details before ordering. Contact us if you need clarification about measurements, materials, included pieces, care instructions or suitability.
Accessories and styling items shown in photographs are included only where the product description states that they form part of the purchase.
-
ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated message acknowledging receipt of your order does not, by itself, mean that we have accepted it.
We accept an order when we send a communication expressly confirming acceptance or dispatch the product, whichever occurs first. For customised products, acceptance may be confirmed in writing before production begins.
Payment collection alone does not change this acceptance process unless we expressly state otherwise.
Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, inability to deliver to the destination, an unresolved material pricing error, suspected fraud or a legal restriction.
If we decline an order for which payment has been collected, we will arrange repayment without undue delay and within any applicable legal deadline.
Once accepted, we will not change the price or other material terms without your agreement, except where permitted by law. If fulfilment becomes impossible, we will explain the situation and provide the remedies required by law, including a refund where applicable.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
-
PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website. The currency and total amount payable to us will be shown before you submit your order.
Applicable taxes will be included or separately identified as required by law. Shipping charges and other charges payable to us will be disclosed before purchase.
Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion rates or charges. These are separate from charges imposed by Colour Closet.
Available payment methods are those displayed at checkout or expressly offered through our official customer-service channels.
You confirm that you are authorised to use your chosen payment method. Orders may be subject to proportionate payment verification and fraud checks.
Where an instalment or deferred-payment provider is available, its separate agreement governs that payment service. It does not remove your consumer rights concerning the products purchased from us.
Please retain your order confirmation and payment records.
-
PRICING ERRORS AND PROMOTIONS
If we discover a material pricing or description error before accepting your order, we will inform you and offer the choice of proceeding on corrected terms or cancelling for a refund of any payment collected.
For an error discovered after acceptance, we will act in accordance with applicable law and will not automatically charge you an additional amount.
Discounts, promotional codes and special offers are subject to the conditions disclosed with the offer, including eligibility, expiry dates, exclusions and any minimum spend.
We may take reasonable action against fraudulent or abusive use of promotions. This does not permit us to withdraw a valid discount from an accepted order without a lawful basis.
-
CUSTOMISED AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Customised orders may require confirmation of measurements, colours, materials, design details, personalisation and production times.
Please check the specifications provided for approval carefully. We will identify any additional charges and relevant cancellation conditions before you commit to the order.
After production begins, requested changes may not be possible. Any agreed changes affecting cost or delivery must be confirmed with you.
Where we have correctly followed measurements supplied by you, alterations arising solely from inaccurate measurements may involve an additional charge agreed in advance. This does not apply where the error is ours or the product does not meet the agreed specifications.
Products genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from voluntary change-of-mind returns and, where the law permits, statutory withdrawal rights.
A product is not automatically treated as personalised merely because it is produced after ordering or selected in a standard size or colour.
Customisation exclusions never remove applicable rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
-
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery destinations, charges and estimated timeframes are provided through the website, checkout or an agreed order quotation.
Production time for a custom order may be separate from shipping time. We will explain this before accepting the order.
Delivery estimates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a binding delivery date. If you need an item for a wedding, event or other fixed deadline, tell us before ordering and obtain written confirmation that we can meet it.
Items from different brands may arrive separately. We will not impose additional shipping charges beyond those agreed without your consent.
You must provide an accurate delivery address and reasonable information required for delivery. Contact us promptly if an address needs correcting; changes may not be possible after dispatch.
If delivery fails because of an address error or missed delivery attributable to you, reasonable redelivery costs may apply where disclosed and legally permitted.
Where we arrange delivery, responsibility for loss or damage in transit remains with us until the goods are received by you or your designated recipient, subject to any different mandatory legal rule.
If an order is lost, substantially delayed or delivered incorrectly, contact us. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by your contract and applicable law. You will not be required to resolve our supplier or courier disputes yourself.
-
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS AND CUSTOMS
International deliveries may involve customs clearance and destination-country import requirements.
Before purchase, we will explain whether import duties and taxes are included in the price or may be payable separately by you. Where amounts cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain the possibility of those charges.
Customers must provide accurate information reasonably required for lawful customs clearance. We will not deliberately misstate a shipment’s contents or value.
Where a customer refuses delivery because of charges that were properly disclosed as their responsibility, we may deduct documented, reasonable and legally recoverable return costs from a refund. We will explain any proposed deduction.
We do not impose an automatic forfeiture of the entire purchase price for a refused shipment.
We may restrict destinations or transactions where necessary to comply with applicable UAE laws, sanctions, export controls and lawful payment or shipping restrictions.
-
ORDER CANCELLATION
To request cancellation or an amendment, contact cs@colourcloset.com as soon as possible, quoting your order number.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request before dispatch or, for customised goods, before production begins.
If fulfilment has progressed, cancellation may be subject to the return provisions below or any lawful custom-order conditions disclosed before purchase.
Any proposed custom-order cancellation deduction must be lawful, proportionate and explained. We will not automatically retain the full payment merely because an order is described as made to order.
Nothing in this section restricts an applicable statutory cancellation or withdrawal right.
-
VOLUNTARY RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return option for eligible products.
Please notify us within 30 days after receiving the product and dispatch the return within that period. If our delay in providing return instructions prevents timely dispatch, we will provide a reasonable extension.
For this voluntary return option, products must be unworn, unused, unwashed and unaltered, with their original tags and included accessories. Please retain the original packaging where reasonably possible.
Genuinely personalised products and any lawful product-specific exclusions must be clearly identified before purchase to be excluded from this voluntary return option.
Unless we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the reasonable return shipping cost for a change-of-mind return. Original delivery charges are not refunded for a voluntary return unless stated otherwise or required by law.
Exchanges depend on availability. If a requested replacement is unavailable, we will explain the applicable refund or alternative options.
These voluntary conditions do not determine your rights concerning defective goods or statutory withdrawal rights.
-
FAULTY, DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR MISDESCRIBED PRODUCTS
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or materially different from its description or agreed specifications.
Include your order number and a description of the problem. We may request reasonable supporting information, such as photographs, to help assess the issue.
An unboxing video is not a mandatory condition for exercising statutory rights. Failure to report a problem within a short administrative period does not automatically extinguish those rights.
Where a claim is valid, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
We will bear the necessary return or collection costs where required because of a defect, incorrect supply or another issue for which we are responsible.
Sale items and customised products remain subject to applicable statutory protections.
A supplier’s refusal to accept a claim does not, by itself, determine your rights against Colour Closet.
-
STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS
Depending on your location and the laws applicable to your purchase, you may have mandatory rights in addition to the voluntary return option above.
Where applicable EU consumer withdrawal rules govern your purchase, you generally have 14 days after delivery to notify us that you wish to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to lawful exceptions.
You may notify us by an unequivocal statement emailed to cs@colourcloset.com. Include your name, order number, the relevant products and the delivery date.
You then generally have a further 14 days to send the goods back. You bear direct return costs only where the law permits and you were informed of that responsibility before purchase.
Where those rules apply, we reimburse the relevant payments, including the qualifying standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until receiving the goods or evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first, where legally permitted.
An additional charge for premium delivery need not be refunded beyond the standard delivery amount where the law allows. Any deduction for diminished value must be legally justified by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and functioning.
Lawful exceptions may apply to genuinely personalised goods and certain sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after unsealing. We do not apply these exceptions more broadly than the law permits.
Equivalent or additional mandatory rights under other applicable laws remain unaffected.
-
REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed and legally permitted.
We will process refunds within applicable legal deadlines and communicate relevant processing information. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the credit.
We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where you are legally entitled to repayment.
Where an instalment provider is involved, we will coordinate the relevant adjustment with that provider. Its processing arrangements do not remove our obligations to arrange a refund where due.
We will explain any lawful deductions. Refunds will not be delayed solely because we are awaiting reimbursement from a vendor.
-
ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE
You must not:
• Use the website for fraud or other unlawful activity.
• Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or personal information.
• Introduce malware or deliberately interfere with website security or operation.
• Submit false orders or impersonate another person.
• Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Use automated methods that unlawfully extract data or materially disrupt the service.
• Threaten, harass or abuse customers, vendors or staff.
We may proportionately restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a breach or protect security. Any restriction remains subject to your rights concerning accepted orders, refunds and personal information.
-
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CUSTOMER CONTENT
Website content, branding, graphics, photographs and other materials belong to Colour Closet or their respective rights holders.
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping. Commercial reproduction or use of protected content requires the relevant rights holder’s permission, except where permitted by law.
You retain ownership of reviews, photographs and other content you submit.
When you submit content specifically for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to display, reproduce and reasonably format it for that disclosed purpose. Separate promotional use outside that purpose requires any further permission required by law.
Private customer-service messages and custom-order photographs are not automatically licensed for public advertising.
You must have the rights needed to submit content. We may remove unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing submissions, but will not suppress genuine reviews merely because they are negative.
-
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical faults or events outside our reasonable control.
External links may lead to independently operated websites with their own terms. Their inclusion does not remove our responsibilities for services we provide or arrange.
General website information does not override specific product descriptions, agreed order terms or mandatory consumer protections.
-
LIABILITY AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
We are responsible for meeting obligations imposed on us by your purchase contract and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, defective products or breach of mandatory consumer rights.
Where permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or business losses arising from purchases made for personal use.
We do not exclude responsibility for the conduct of suppliers or service providers to the extent that the law makes us responsible for them.
You must take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss after becoming aware of a problem. This does not require you to incur unreasonable expense or waive a legal right.
-
EVENTS OUTSIDE REASONABLE CONTROL
Events such as severe weather, transport disruption, government restrictions or other circumstances outside reasonable control may affect fulfilment.
If this happens, we will take reasonable steps to limit the impact and inform you of material delays.
Such an event does not automatically entitle us to retain payment indefinitely or remove your rights concerning non-delivery, an essential agreed deadline or cancellation under applicable law.
-
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
Please send order-related complaints to cs@colourcloset.com, including your order number and a clear description of the issue.
We will assess the complaint fairly and seek a reasonable resolution. Contacting us does not prevent you from approaching a competent consumer-protection authority or court.
These terms and contracts made under them are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Disputes may be brought before the competent UAE courts, subject to mandatory rules concerning jurisdiction and consumer protection.
If the mandatory law of your country of residence applies to your purchase, this governing-law clause does not deprive you of its protections or any right to bring proceedings in another competent forum.
-
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms for future use and purchases. The latest version will display an updated publication date.
The terms applicable when your order was placed continue to govern that order unless a lawful change is expressly agreed with you.
We will not retrospectively remove agreed rights by changing a website page.
-
GENERAL PROVISIONS
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent legally permitted or be severed where appropriate. The remaining provisions continue to apply.
A delay in exercising a right does not automatically waive that right.
Any transfer of our contractual rights or obligations must not unlawfully reduce your protections.
These terms, the policies incorporated before purchase and any specific terms agreed for your order form the agreement concerning that purchase. They do not exclude legally binding pre-contractual information or liability for misleading statements.
