ABOUT US
Colour Closet (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a UAE-based, licensed e-commerce store operating through https://colourcloset.com.
We offer clothing, footwear, jewellery, accessories and other products from participating brands and vendors, including Pakistani brands, for delivery to available destinations.
For enquiries about these terms or your order, contact cs@colourcloset.com.
-
THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchases from Colour Closet, including purchases accepted through our official customer-service channels.
Please read these terms before placing an order. By submitting an order, you agree to the terms presented to you for that purchase.
Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and any product-specific conditions disclosed before purchase also apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Mandatory legal requirements take priority over these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing or tracking.
These are customer-facing terms. Our commercial arrangements with brands and vendors are governed separately.
-
ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity required to place an order.
You must provide accurate information needed to process your purchase, including your name, contact details and delivery address.
If you create an account, take reasonable steps to protect your login details. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must not impersonate another person, use payment information without permission or submit fraudulent orders.
-
COLOUR CLOSET’S ROLE
For purchases under these terms, Colour Closet is your contracting seller and your contact for order support, delivery issues, returns and refunds.
Participating brands, vendors and service providers may prepare, customise, package or dispatch products on our behalf.
Our arrangements with those businesses do not remove our responsibilities to you under your purchase contract or applicable law.
If you independently purchase from another business outside Colour Closet, that transaction is governed by that business’s terms.
-
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, prices, size information and availability.
Please review the product description and size chart before purchasing. Unless expressly stated otherwise, accessories and styling items shown in photographs are not included.
Product colours may appear differently because of lighting, photography or screen settings. Handmade products may have minor variations in embroidery, print placement or finishing consistent with their description.
These variations do not excuse defects, significant differences from the description or failure to meet agreed specifications.
Contact us before ordering if you need clarification about materials, measurements, included pieces, care instructions or customisation.
-
PLACING AND ACCEPTING ORDERS
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not, by itself, mean we have accepted it.
We accept your order when we expressly confirm acceptance in writing or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. For custom orders, we may confirm acceptance before production begins.
Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, inability to deliver, an unresolved material pricing error, suspected fraud or a legal restriction.
If we decline an order after collecting payment, we will arrange repayment without undue delay and within any applicable legal deadline.
After accepting an order, we will not change its price or other material conditions without your agreement, except where legally permitted.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
-
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. The checkout or agreed order quotation will identify the amount and currency payable to us.
Applicable taxes and charges will be included or disclosed as required by law. Shipping charges and other amounts payable to us will be disclosed before you commit to purchasing.
Payment methods are those available at checkout or expressly offered through our official customer-service channels.
You confirm that you are authorised to use your chosen payment method. We may carry out reasonable verification to protect against fraud.
Your bank or payment provider may apply separate currency-conversion charges or fees.
Where an instalment or deferred-payment service is offered, that provider’s terms govern its payment service. Those terms do not remove your consumer rights concerning goods purchased from us.
Please retain your order confirmation and transaction records.
-
ERRORS, DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
If we identify a material pricing or description error before accepting an order, we will explain the correction and give you the choice of proceeding or cancelling with repayment of any amount collected.
Errors discovered after acceptance will be handled in accordance with applicable law. We will not automatically debit an additional amount without your authorisation.
Discount codes and promotions are subject to the conditions disclosed with the offer, including expiry dates, eligibility, exclusions and minimum purchase requirements.
We may take proportionate action against fraudulent or abusive use of promotions. This does not allow us to remove a valid discount from an accepted order without a lawful basis.
-
CUSTOMISED AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Custom orders may require agreement on measurements, colours, fabrics, designs, personalisation, production times and payment arrangements.
Please check the specifications submitted for your approval carefully. Relevant charges and cancellation restrictions must be disclosed before you commit to the order.
Changes requested after production begins may not be possible. Any additional cost or revised delivery estimate must be agreed with you.
Where we correctly follow measurements supplied by you, alterations needed solely because those measurements were inaccurate may incur a charge agreed in advance. This does not apply to errors made by us or products that fail to meet the agreed specifications.
Genuinely personalised products or products made to your individual specifications are excluded from our voluntary change-of-mind return option, where that exclusion is disclosed before purchase and legally permitted.
Selecting a standard size or colour does not, by itself, make a product personalised.
Customised products remain covered by applicable rights concerning defects, damage, incorrect supply and misdescription.
-
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Available destinations, shipping charges and delivery estimates are provided through the website, checkout or an agreed quotation.
Custom-order production time may be additional to shipping time. We will explain relevant production and delivery arrangements before accepting your order.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a binding date. If you need an item for a wedding or another specific event, tell us before ordering and obtain written confirmation that we can meet your deadline.
Items from different brands may arrive separately. Additional delivery charges beyond those agreed will not be imposed without your consent.
Please provide an accurate address and contact information. Contact us promptly if a correction is needed; changes may not be possible after dispatch.
Where delivery fails because of incorrect information or a missed delivery attributable to you, reasonable redelivery costs may apply where disclosed and legally permitted.
Where we arrange delivery, responsibility for loss or damage in transit remains with us until the goods reach you or your designated recipient, subject to applicable law.
If an order is lost, substantially delayed or delivered incorrectly, contact us. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by your contract and applicable law.
-
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International shipments may be subject to customs clearance, destination-country restrictions and import charges.
Before purchase, we will explain whether import duties and taxes are included or may be payable separately by you. If those charges cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain that they may apply.
You must provide accurate information reasonably required for lawful customs clearance.
If you refuse delivery because of charges properly disclosed as your responsibility, we may deduct reasonable, documented and legally recoverable return costs from a refund. We will explain any proposed deduction.
Refusal of delivery does not automatically result in forfeiture of the entire purchase price.
We may restrict destinations or transactions to comply with applicable UAE laws, sanctions, export controls and lawful payment or shipping restrictions.
-
CANCELLATIONS AND ORDER CHANGES
To request cancellation or an amendment, email cs@colourcloset.com promptly with your order number.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests before dispatch or, for custom orders, before production starts.
Once fulfilment has progressed, cancellation may be subject to the return provisions below or lawful custom-order conditions disclosed before purchase.
Any proposed custom-order cancellation deduction must be lawful, proportionate and explained. We will not automatically retain the full payment merely because an order is described as made to order.
This section does not limit statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights.
-
OUR 30-DAY RETURN OPTION
In addition to statutory rights, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return option for eligible standard products.
You have 30 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return. After receiving our return instructions, please dispatch the item within 14 calendar days, unless we agree otherwise. We will not penalise you for a delay caused by us in providing those instructions.
To qualify for this voluntary return option, the product must be unworn and unused apart from careful inspection or trying on for size, unwashed and unaltered, with its original tags, included accessories and original packaging.
Genuinely personalised products and other lawful exclusions clearly disclosed before purchase are excluded from this voluntary option.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless we agree otherwise. Original delivery charges are not refunded unless stated otherwise or required by law.
Please contact cs@colourcloset.com for return instructions before sending an item. We will provide the appropriate return address. Do not return goods directly to a vendor without instructions from us.
Exchanges depend on availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will explain the available refund or alternative options.
These voluntary conditions do not restrict statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, or applicable legal withdrawal rights. Please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for further details.
-
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or materially different from its description or agreed specifications.
Provide your order number and a description of the issue. We may request reasonable evidence, such as photographs, to help assess the claim.
An unboxing video is not a mandatory condition for exercising statutory rights. Failure to report an issue within a short administrative period does not automatically remove those rights.
For a valid claim, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. This may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
We will bear necessary return or collection costs where required because of a defect, incorrect supply or another issue for which we are responsible.
These protections also apply to sale items and customised products where required by law. A vendor’s refusal to reimburse us does not, by itself, determine your rights against Colour Closet.
-
ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS
Depending on your location and the laws applicable to your purchase, you may have mandatory rights beyond our voluntary return option.
Where EU consumer withdrawal rules apply, you generally have 14 days after delivery to notify us that you wish to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to lawful exceptions.
You may exercise that right by sending a clear statement to cs@colourcloset.com identifying your name, order number and the relevant goods.
Where those rules apply, you generally have a further 14 days after notifying us to return the goods. You bear direct return costs only where legally permitted and disclosed before purchase.
We will make the required reimbursement, including the qualifying standard outbound delivery charge, within the applicable legal period. Where permitted, reimbursement may be withheld until we receive the returned goods or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first.
Any deduction for diminished value must be legally justified. Lawful exceptions may apply to genuinely personalised goods and certain sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Other mandatory rights under the laws applicable to your purchase remain unaffected.
-
REFUNDS
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed and legally permitted.
We will process refunds without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to display the credit.
We will not require store credit instead of repayment where you are legally entitled to a monetary refund.
For instalment payments, we will coordinate the relevant adjustment with the provider. Refunds will not be delayed solely because we are awaiting payment from a vendor.
Any lawful deduction will be explained.
-
ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use the website to:
• Commit fraud or other unlawful acts.
• Impersonate another person or submit false orders.
• Access accounts, systems or personal information without authorisation.
• Introduce malware or interfere with website security.
• Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
• Unlawfully extract data or materially disrupt the service.
• Threaten, harass or abuse customers, vendors or staff.
We may proportionately restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect security. Such action does not remove your rights concerning accepted orders, refunds or personal information.
-
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND SUBMISSIONS
Website branding, text, photographs, graphics and other protected materials belong to Colour Closet or their respective rights holders.
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping. Commercial reproduction or use of protected materials requires appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
You retain ownership of content you submit.
When you submit a review or other content specifically for publication, you grant us non-exclusive permission to display, reproduce and reasonably format it for that disclosed purpose.
Private messages, customer-service correspondence and custom-order photographs are not automatically authorised for public advertising. Additional uses require any further permission required by law.
You must have the rights necessary to submit content. We may remove unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing submissions, but will not remove genuine reviews solely because they are negative.
-
PRIVACY AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information and how you can exercise applicable rights.
Our website is hosted on Shopify. Payment, delivery and other services may involve additional providers.
Independent third-party websites and services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Their involvement does not remove our responsibilities for the services we provide or arrange.
-
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to maintain an accessible and accurate website, but temporary interruptions may arise from maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
General website information does not override specific product descriptions, agreed order commitments or mandatory legal protections.
Changes to the website do not automatically change the terms of an already accepted order.
-
LIABILITY
We remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by your purchase contract and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, defective products or breach of mandatory consumer rights.
Where legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or business losses arising from purchases made for personal use.
We do not exclude responsibility for suppliers or service providers to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible for their conduct.
Please take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss after discovering a problem. This does not require unreasonable expense or the waiver of a legal right.
-
EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
Severe weather, transport disruption, government restrictions and other events outside reasonable control may affect fulfilment.
We will take reasonable steps to limit their impact and inform you of material delays.
Such events do not automatically allow us to retain payment indefinitely or remove your rights concerning non-delivery, an essential agreed deadline or cancellation under applicable law.
-
COMPLAINTS AND GOVERNING LAW
Send complaints to cs@colourcloset.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
We will assess complaints fairly and seek a reasonable resolution. You may also approach a competent consumer-protection authority or court.
These terms and purchases governed by them are subject to the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Disputes may be brought before the competent UAE courts, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer-protection rules.
Where mandatory laws of your country of residence apply, these terms do not deprive you of those protections or any right to bring proceedings in another competent forum.
-
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms for future use and purchases. The revised version will display an updated date.
The terms presented when you placed your order continue to govern that purchase unless a lawful change is expressly agreed with you.
We will not retrospectively remove agreed rights by updating a website page.
-
GENERAL PROVISIONS
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent legally permitted or be severed where appropriate. The remaining provisions continue to apply.
A delay in exercising a right does not automatically waive that right.
Any transfer of our contractual rights or obligations must not unlawfully reduce your protections.
These terms, policies incorporated before purchase and specific terms agreed for your order form the agreement concerning that purchase. They do not exclude legally binding pre-contractual information or liability for misleading statements.
